Jenny Kern - Founder
Jenny knows firsthand what it means to take a leap of faith as an artist. After starting her career in film and television with acclaimed directors Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig, she turned full-time to music in 2019. Since then, Jenny has built an international profile as an indie pop artist with syncs on MTV, ABC, Hulu, and The CW, features in SPIN, Wonderland, Relix, and Ones to Watch, and placements on coveted Spotify playlists like Fresh Finds, Soda, Indie All-Stars, and New Music Friday. At Timbre, Jenny channels that experience into championing other artists. Having navigated touring, recording, sync placements, press, and streaming growth herself, she understands the realities of building a career from the ground up. Her approach is equal parts strategic and empathetic—balancing big-picture vision with the small details that make an artist’s path sustainable. Every client receives personalized guidance across management, consulting, production, and PR, with Jenny’s core belief driving the work: artists deserve a partner who understands their journey from the inside out.
Willow Blake - Artist Development Manager
Willow brings a rare blend of creative and strategic insight to Timbre Management. As a songwriter herself, she’s worked alongside numerous musicians in the indie music scene, giving her firsthand perspective on what it takes to build a career from the ground up. From advising on songwriting and production to preparing for major live shows, Willow understands the challenges artists face and helps guide them through every step of the process. Her expertise spans A&R, marketing, and brand development, but what truly sets Willow apart is her ability to listen deeply and translate an artist’s vision into a clear path forward. She combines empathy with innovation—offering not just professional guidance, but genuine partnership. At Timbre, Willow plays an essential role in helping artists refine their sound, expand their reach, and develop the confidence to succeed both creatively and professionally.
Gabe Marshall - Consulting Specialist
Gabe brings a unique blend of legal expertise, industry experience, and creative vision to Timbre Management. A graduate of New York Law School with a background in the entertainment industry—including time as a Page at NBC—he has spent years working closely with talent across multiple fields. That mix of business acumen and firsthand experience with artists gives him a rare perspective on how to shape and sustain a career in today’s music landscape. Gabe’s strategic prowess and creative flair make him an invaluable partner in guiding artists through both the business and public-facing sides of their work. From advising on contracts and negotiations to strategic communication, he helps artists position themselves authentically while protecting their long-term interests. His attention to detail and dedication to each client’s vision ensure that every move feels intentional, resonant, and true to the artist.
